Season's Greetings

Thank you all for your custom during 2018.  As a small independent bookshop we appreciate each and every customer.  We are taking a break over the Christmas season to recharge, but will look forward to serving you again throughout 2019, God willing.

Time for a rest...

Well it's been a busy and enjoyable year selling some wonderful Sovereign Grace books to customers old and new.  From lunchtime on Christmas Eve we will be taking a break. The shop will not reopen until Monday 5th January, but we will be monitoring emails so if you need anything urgently please drop us a line.

What's your style?

Everyone shops differently, but most of us do get caught up in the Christmas shopping experience - for better or worse!  We have planned two very different Christmas shopping events to suit all types.  If you prefer shopping with the family, pop in on Saturday 16th November.  We will happily entertain your children with Christmas crafts & activities while you are free to browse our special offers.  Alternatively, if you prefer to shop in peace & quiet pop along on the evening of Monday 18th November.  We will be opening late for a relaxed evening of browsing and extra discounts.
Please note... the special offers & discounts are ONLY available at these events...  also the usual free refreshments will be available with added mince pies!

Taking a break...

Sorry, the shop is shut for the remainder of this week. We plan to re-open after the New Year Bank Holiday on Tuesday 4th Jan. A great big thanks to all our friends and customers for their support this past year, we look forward to continuing to serve you.

Sorry folks, we're taking a break...

Mmmmm, finally some time to catch up on a bit of reading... luxury.

We plan to be back in action on Monday 4th Jan 2010, raring to go and brimful of creative energy (that's what Jeremy keeps telling me anyway!). Season's Greetings to all our customers, we look forward to hearing from you in the year to come.

Phew!

We are just starting to breathe more easily again - less of the dashing up and down stairs between the packing room and office and more of the sitting and eating mince-pies! Our last batch of parcels for a Christmas delivery went off with the courier this afternoon. For any late mail-orderers your only chance now of a Christmas delivery is Royal Mail Special Delivery. For our local customers, we will happily serve you in the shop up until midday on Christmas Eve. We then intend to shut down operations until the New Year. We're hoping to catch up on some reading (in between calming the boys down from all the excitement usually associated with the season). So watch this space - we might find some time for a few posts even while the shop is shut.
